Dreams of Wings

I painted this on October 24, 2008, for my dear friend and hairstylist, Jack Garrison. He was then about to undergo his last round of chemo

to treat Burkitt's lymphoma, and I wanted to create something for him to give him hopeful thoughts. I was thinking of angels and wings,
and this is what came out of the end of my brush. I like the abstact/surreal feathers.

Happily, this did turn out to be the last round and as of December 2008, he is back at his salon full-time.
